The other day, while surfing the Internet for interesting
articles, I came across one that mentioned gifting ideas for Valentine’s Day! I
cannot disagree that the article was well-written however I was really
depressed with the gifting ideas mentioned in them. There were hardly any creative
ideas mentioned in the entire write-up. So, I decided to pen down a few unique Valentine’s Day gifts ideas for all of you.
Valentine’s Day, the most celebrated day for romance and
love, is meant to create beautiful memories. On my first Valentine’s Day, my
then boyfriend, arranged for a unique spa and tattoo session for both of us!
First we had a couple spa section followed by a steam bath. After we were
completely refreshed, our next adventure was waiting! Honestly, I wasn’t too
excited for this one. The entire idea of getting a tattoo done was scary.
However, I mustered courage for it and went ahead to get inked. The tattoo
session was followed by a candlelight dinner. This was definitely one of its
kind of surprise that I could receive.
The other gift that I remember was the one that I received
from my husband. He prepared a scrapbook of all our memories and created a
storyboard out of it. He had put together our photos right from the time we
started dating. The first picture in the scrapbook was that of my childhood.
And the message was, My Young Queen! Pictures were put together in groups and after
each series of photographs, he had written a cute message for me. After the
final picture, he wrote, ‘Are you ready to create more memories with me for the
rest of your life?’ I had never expected my husband to remember each of those
moments! His efforts to recreate all those lovely moments will be cherished by
me for the rest of my life. This gift took me completely by surprise!
The final gift I could remember was the one that I received
on my last Valentine’s Day. Let me tell you, it wasn't a gift only from my husband;
it was a gift from my kids as well. While I was away for my work, they managed
to arrange a painting session. On Valentine’s Day, the painter came home and created
a portrait of our family. Yes, we had our own painting session! Wait, there’s
more to this surprise. My husband got a pretty dress which I wore for the
session. Following the session, my family had arranged for an intimate dinner!
These
gifts were priceless for me! If you are on a lookout for romantic valentine’s day gifts, try to bring out the creative side in you. Handmade and well-thought
after gifting ideas will also be cherished by your partner!
